The project, which will have an estimated investment of 1.7 billion euros, foresees the creation of a diversified offer, including two hotels, ‘branded residences’, houses and apartments.

Located in a nature reserve that extends over 400 hectares, Pinheirinho will benefit from a redesign of its original master plan. The proposal now presented includes “significant sustainability and responsible development measures”, according to the statement sent to newsrooms, integrating an additional 200 hectares of pine forest and dunes.

With a gross construction area of approximately 200,000 square meters (m2), the project will have direct access to the beach, an 18-hole golf course and a wide range of amenities such as sports facilities, shops, services and an exclusive beach club for residents and tourists.

The construction of the new project in Comporta will create more than 2,000 jobs in the initial phase, and the full operation of the complex should generate more than 1,000 permanent jobs.

Buyers will have the opportunity to purchase land to build homes or opt for turnkey properties, with some of these same homes already under construction.

Pinheirinho will be one of the latest developments in Comporta, an emerging luxury destination often compared to places like the Hamptons, Ibiza or St. Maarten. Tropez. Located just one hour from Lisbon and strategically positioned between the airports of Lisbon, Faro and Beja, the region continues to attract tourists and investors from all over the world.

“We are very excited to bring this extraordinary project to life in Comporta. Pinheirinho reflects not only our dedication to creating spaces that enhance the natural beauty of its surroundings but also our responsibility towards the local community and its environment, a true commitment to our legacy in Comporta and throughout the Alentejo region”, said João Cabaça, CEO of VIC Properties.
